The Toronto Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated associate to join our Business Law Group. The successful candidate will join a team which provides a full range of legal advice to clients which operate in a wide range of industries.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Ontario, and have the following credentials:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of post-call private equity investment and fund formation experience;
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials;
  • Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills; and
  • A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

The successful applicant will work closely with leading business law lawyers and be part of our top-tier National Private Equity team providing sophisticated legal advice to a diverse range of Canadian and international clients.
